i'm so thrilled...i keep crying with joy. a friend and fellow poet, richard vargas said something about going out and buying an american flag because for the first time he is proud of this country. i feel much the same way.
nila, actually, it's not the first time i've ever been proud of my country, but it is the first time in a long time, specifically 8 yrs. funny thing, i went to wal-mart to buy a flag, and they didn't have any! it's a seasonal item! ha! what a patriotic outfit... rvargas
